Run Rose Run by Dolly Parton and James Patterson

 

 

This is not the first James Patterson co-authored book for me.  I posted about the one he did with Bill Clinton – The President is Missing

 

Patterson is clearly talented at writing thrillers – and Dolly Parton is, of course, a force of nature.

 

The book did not disappoint. It is based around a young country singer at the beginning of her career.  She encounters one of the industry legends.

 

As she progresses it becomes clear that she is running from her past.  The reason is very topical.
