Ok, this book is a sequel – a very good one but you need to read Matchmaking for Beginners first. If you didn't you'll end up missing why the people are the way they are.
You will enjoy Fritzie, Patrick's daughter that he didn't know he had. You won't enjoy the way Patrick's mental health deteriorates – and I'm not a hundred percent sure it adds to the plot as much as the author thought.
But if you enjoyed the first book, you'll enjoy this one too.
