Matchmaking for Beginners: A Novel by Maddie Dawson

 

 

I wish I took the time to note down where book recommendations came from.  But I haven't so I haven't a clue how I came to order this one.  But, boy, was it a delightful surprise.  I've now ordered some of her other books. (Update: I've now realised I got the recommendation from Melissa at Chick Lit Central- thanks!)

 

The title and cover are not encouraging but this is a really well written book.  The characters are fascinating and the themes are important but dealt with in a fun way.

 

This is not your ordinary romance or chick lit – do give it a go.
