Disraeli Gears was the name of the 2nd
studio album by Cream. There is no
sensible back story for the name.
Apparently it was based on a malapropism by one of the roadies.
The title is not at all related to the tracks. It was 1967 after all. Eric Clapton was a member of the band. The album was a No 1 in Australia, the US and
Finland.
