Pig's
Trotters
I wouldn't eat pig's trotters today but do remember
scoffing them with delight when they were cooked up and served by our father.
Pig's trotters are exactly what they sound like – the fatty
ends of pig's feet. They get boiled up
and the fat turns all sticky and delicious.
A heart attack in the making!
You know what? I want to try pigs trotters now. I've had pickled slow cooked ones Chinese style years ago, but wasn't old enough to appreciate them. I think I'm ready now :)
ReplyDeleteOur family loves them, me included. I like them in stew.
ReplyDeleteNever heard of them before!
