Nostalgia alert!

TT2 ice blocks

TT2 ice blocks were probably just a New Zealand thing – I don't know.  But I have strong memories of buying them as a child from the local dairy (convenience store).  If I am remembering right they cost 4 cents each and my favourite flavour was grape!

TT2's were made by Tip Top – a great ice cream brand to this very day.  You can still buy Jelly Tips, Fru-Jus and Trumpets but sadly not the original TT2s.

  1. Fascinating - I don't think we had ANY of those lollies here in the UK! My childhood favourite [Bob's too, it turns out] was a Wall's Feast [http://www.icecreammakesuhappy.co.uk/Products/ProductDetail.aspx?pid=175392] wonderfully chocolatey!!
