Breaded pork cutlets

Breaded pork cutlets by Carole's Chatter

If you think these breaded pork cutlets look delicious but naughty – you are right on both counts!  I took one pork steak and bashed it to thin it out and then cut it up into 4 pieces.  I dipped each piece into a egg/cream mixture and then dredged it in panko (Japanese bread crumbs).  A quick fry in an oil and butter mix followed by a 20 minute finish in a moderate oven and there you have it.  Delectable – and I guess the only naughty bits are the cream and the oil/butter you are frying with.
