As
a side dish for a roast dinner, I made this very simple but visually appealing radish salad. It couldn't be more simple – barely a recipe.
Just thinly slice some radishes and
sprinkle chopped chives over them. Then
pour a little extra virgin olive oil, and lemon juice over it and finally
season with salt and pepper and pop some red chilli pieces on top for
garnish. I didn't even pre-mix the
dressing. It was fresh and crunchy.

Sounds wonderful! I'll be trying this with my next roast. Have a great weekend!

Such a simple dish...but one my radish-LOVING husband would adore!
ReplyDeleteI can't say I'm usually a fan of radishes, but this looks delicious, and reminds me of the 'salads' that my Chilean host mother used to serve when I was studying abroad. She took whatever vegetable was in season, chopped it thin, and served with lemon and olive oil. Thanks for sharing this recipe!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I always just think of radishes on a relish tray. I'm going to do this tonight.
ReplyDeleteThanks for following Rose City Reader. I am following you now.
I adore radishes :) I'd add lettuce, cucumber and some more ingredients to make a more filling salad.
ReplyDeleteSo simple. Wish there was a way to send each of us a little taste.
