Location – on the top of East Anglia



Historical titbits – Boadicea of the Iceni was in what is now Norfolk


Nicknames – the people are sometimes called Norfolk Dumplings



County seat – Norwich is also the only city


Unusual town name – Two Mile Bottom



Flower – Common poppy


Signature foods – Cromer crab, Samphire, Norfolk Black Turkey, Colman's mustard

  1. Norfolk is a beautiful county. I spent my childhood there. In 35 days time I will be 66 and two days later we will retire to this lovely place. Thanks for this well timed post Carole!
