Foodie Friday – Recycling Little Bits of Nutmeg

 
 

Thanks to a neat little Cook's Illustrated Book, Kitchen Hacks, I can share with you a hack for not wasting those little bits of nutmeg that you can't grate without grating your fingers as well.

 

Just put them into a mortar and pestle and grind them up – they grind up quite easily.
