Foodie Friday : Peach Brown Betty

Peach Brown Betty was a favorite of the Reagans (actually an apple version) – so it must be special.  It is a traditional American dessert.

The fruit is layered with sweetened crumbs and topped off with cream or lemon sauce.

I can't guarantee that the name of this dessert isn't reflective of the old South – so please don't anyone take offence.
