Yesterday's News by R G Belsky

 I read The Last Scoop (which is third in the Clare Carlson series).  It was a really good read.  So I went back to the first in the series – Yesterday's News.

The writing was equally good.  I wasn't surprised by some of the developments having read a later book but even so, this is a tightly paced book.  The 'heroine' is admirable flawed and the commentary on TV news production is very funny.
