  1. My daughter lives in Manchester. In victorian times it was a hive of industry and its symbol was the bee - a hard worker, part of a larger community, producing good, sweet things. In the old buildings from that time you will see lots of bees, carvings, tiles, on windows etc. In recent years, they've rediscovered their emblem and it's all over the modern city, buzzing with life. A truly great and beautiful place to visit.
