Foodie Friday - Potted Cheese

If you want an idea for a homemade food gift – here's an English Traditional Potted Cheese recipe.

You just blend together leftover bits of cheese with clarified butter – and you are left with a lovely spread.

Season your cheese with a little mustard powder and a bit of Worcestershire sauce along with salt and pepper – not too much salt if you cheese is salty.

You put it into little pots and cover with more clarified butter.  If you are making this for your own consumption without delay – don't worry about clarifying the butter.  But do if you are giving as a gift.
