Rabbit Belongs to Emily Brown is on the UK BookTrust's
list of best books for 6-8 years. It is
a fab little story book about Emily and her well loved rabbit (reminds me of my
own Crunchy Bunchy). The Queen sends
various envoys to ask for it and offers increasing rewards each time.
But Emily resisst and the book ends when she gives the
Queen one of the new toys the Queen was offering her and tells her to hold it
for a couple of years and take it everywhere and it will also become a fabulous
companion.
