Eggs
Benedict is apparently American in origin although
there is some controversy about where it was invented. But it does seem to have been in New York.
The classic Eggs
Benedict is a runny poached Egg on a half English muffin with bacon and
hollandaise sauce.
There are some common variations to Eggs Benedict including
Eggs Florentine (spinach) and Eggs Royale (smoked salmon)
Never tried it myself.
ReplyDeleteLove Eggs Benedict!! On our last cruise, I enjoyed a version of Eggs Benedict that included a Belgium Waffle as its base with the usual toppings.
