Foodie Friday – Branston Pickle

A UK favourite, this pickle was first made in 1922 in the village of Branston which is in Staffordshire.  Of course it has moved from there a long time ago.  Over 17 million jars a year are sold in the UK and you can even get it here in New Zealand.

We like this sweet spicy thick chutney like condiment.  It's great with cheese.

  1. Branston pickle is a treat for us to get here. IT's available at World Market and in some of the international sections of the grocery stores. Love it.
