Today's post is very basic. I prepared and steamed some asparagus and
spooned store bought Hollandaise sauce on it.
The sauce was a good one thought. And so was the Parmesan.
To prepare the asparagus, I cut about an inch of the
bottom of each stalk and then peeled each one for about 2 inches up from the
bottom. Then 4 minutes in my microwave
steamer and they're ready.
Spoon your sauce over them however you like and grate
some good Parmesan cheese over it all and you have a side dish good enough for
any occasion.
YUM! Such a fresh spring dish!!
ReplyDeleteI will have to tuck this in my memory box.
ReplyDeletethis works for me, especially since i don't know Hollandaise enough to make it! The last asparagus I made using a butter/lemon sauce -which worked well also
