Blowin'
in the Wind
How
many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
Yes, ’n’ how many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes, ’n’ how many times must the cannonballs fly
Before they’re forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind
The answer is blowin’ in the wind
Before you call him a man?
Yes, ’n’ how many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes, ’n’ how many times must the cannonballs fly
Before they’re forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind
The answer is blowin’ in the wind
I remember singing Blowin' in the Wind at school when I was quite young. I had absolutely no idea at the time that we were being taught a protest song! And I had certainly never heard of Bob Dylan!
Click on this link to see a young Bob Dylan singing the song – very nasally I must add.
Great folk nostalgia Carole. I like his Slow Train Coming record the best.
