Nostalgia Alert!

Fairy Bread

I'm not sure whether this is just a New Zealand thing or not.  One of my childhood treats was Fairy Bread – which was just white buttered bread sprinkled with hundreds and thousands – which are also known as sprinkles.

Delightful for a child but certainly not healthful!

  2. Carole, I've never heard of this! Do you put anything on the bread to make the sprinkles stick? Doing this for my grandkids for sure!

  3. I haven't heard of it--though I can easily see how my 3 year old might get addicted if I allow her to!

  4. An old neighbor that was from Holland, she loved her sprinkles! To me sprinkles have always been for cookies or cakes. I think I have been missing out :)
