  1. Thank you Carole for posting this. I am sure it is a candle in memory of all of the lives lost at Sandy Hook Elementary here in Newtown, CT, USA. I also live in a small community here in Connecticut and we were deeply affected by this horrific tragedy. Thank you that a world is mourning for the loss of these 20 children and brave teachers who gave their lives in hopes of sparing the children. My niece dropped her little boy off at "pre-school" this morning and faced a police officer and new sign in rules. We will forever be changed because of this.

  2. There are no words to describe the tragedy. Everyone, is affected, but those of us, who have dropped our children off at school, will be more affected. What is wrong in our society, that there are so many of these incidents. There should not be a need for security at a school door. I remember thinking of schools as a safe place for children. Now, I am beginning to wonder. We all need to remember, and find a way of changing...so we have no further incidents!

  3. This is a nice way to express your sympathy..no lengthy dialogue, just short and sweet. There's really no more you could say.
