Solution for 17 March cryptic clue



Jazz fan about to reveal what goes on in nightclub? (7)
Solution – Cabaret

So here there is just one part to the clue – the question mark at the end is a warning that there is something unusual about the clue.  Jazz fan = cat.  To reveal = bare.  The “about” tells you to put cat around bare – and you get “cabaret” which is a performance in a nightclub or theatre.
