I have no idea how you pronounce this artist's surname.  He was Italian.

 

So here we have a woman's head (not a very pretty one) made up of flowers.  I can also see some vegetables.

 

This was done in 1573!  So clever!  Perhaps some of you artists out there could try something similar??
