Overboard by Sara Paretsky

Based on this post by Dorothy of The Nature of Things I decided to give Paretsky another go. And I'm glad I did.  It was years since I read one of her books.

Kirkus Reviews said 'Not just murder, but adultery, hate crime, fraud, elder abuse, police misconduct, and dysfunctional families. Enjoy.'

I did enjoy it but the plot lines are much too complicated to tell you about.  So if you are ready for a kick ass private detective give this a go.

My only small niggle is that I couldn't figure out the reason for the title – which made me think of a Goldie Hawn film of the same name.
