It Started at Sunset Cottage by Bella Osborne

 

 

Having enjoyed The Library by the same author, I was looking forward to this one. Her debut novel.

 

Kate Marshall is the protagonist.  She is slowly getting her life back together after the death of her fiancé.  One of her novels is being made into a movie.  She moves into to the Sunset Cottage to work closely with the scriptwriter.

 

Timothy Calder is a star.  They meet in a traditionally meet cute moment – involving a watering can.

 

And from there things get complicated.

 

While Kate is the main story line there are also substantial stories to do with Kate's friend Sarah and her fiance's brother Andy.  While the chopping between various story lines took a bit of getting used to, it was the interweaving of the story lines that made the book for me.
