You know what you are getting with a Sophie Kinsella – an engaging funny romp that will be enjoyable.  The Party Crasher fits the bill.

 

I actually found the heroine even more likeable than the Shopaholic girl.

 

Most of the action takes place over a weekend when the family are saying goodbye to a long standing family home.  This is a hilarious and wise book at the same time.
