Books You Loved: December Edition!

Books You Loved: November Edition again provided reviews of great books. Thank you to all. Here are a few that caught my eye:

Melissa brought us The Magic of Found Objects by Maddie Dawson.  Her review said 'such a sweet story overall.. This was a delightful novel that is perfect to curl up with under a warm blanket, now that the weather is getting cooler. Of course, it's also great to add to your beach bag in the summer. It's an anytime read.'

Tina of Turn The Page contributed His & Hers by Alice Feeney.  Her review said 'This was quite a page turner.  Guaranteed you'll be surprised by the end and the murderer's identity.  I enjoyed this book so much that I put every novel by Alice Feeney on hold at the library.'

And the indomitable Elizabeth of Silver's Reviews brought over two interesting books:

The Keeper of Happy Endings by Barbara Davis – Elizabeth said 'Ms. Davis has outdone herself with this book…historical fiction, love, heartaches, forgiveness, secrets kept for years, but most of all hope in all of it. …A beautiful, beautiful read.  I know you will love it too.  5/5'

A Letter From Nana Rose by Kristin Harper – she said 'If you are in need of a book to keep you turning the pages because you want to find out the secrets of Nana Rose and the girls and feel the warmth of being in the cottage and in this family, be sure to add this book in your reading list…Women’s fiction fans won’t want to miss A LETTER FROM NANA ROSE.  5/5'

Now on to the last Books You Loved for the year - December. There are no rules for this party.  The only requirement is that your post is about a book that you loved.

To add to the list just pop the name of the book (and your name/blog name if you like) into the first Mr Linky box and then copy and paste the url of your post about it into the second box. Mr Linky also makes you tick a box.

I'll be pinning your links to this Pinboard to make it easier for you to check them out at a glance.  Our libraries are now open again – and even not so busy – win/win.

Take care and stay safe. I hope that Omicron is a fizzer…

  6. Thanks. This time I chose a book that is a great twist between two of my favourite things: reading and baking. Both hilarious and informative.

    Happy New Year everyone!
