Three Words For Goodbye by Hazel Gaynor & Heather Webb

I wasn't sure whether I would be posting about Three Words For Goodbye until almost the last page of this book.

The ending made up for some flaws in the earlier parts of the book.

The positives:

·         The ending – which I won't spoil for you

·         Great locations – Paris, Venice and Vienna

·         A fractious and fractured relationship between 2 very different sisters

·         The pre-war setting - 1937

This book seemed to understand how sisters could underneath it all love each other while being driven to distraction by their behaviour.

Thanks to Elizabeth of Silver's Reviews and Book Reviews by Linda Moore for their recommendations. They managed to write good reviews without spoiling anything.
