Harry The Dirty Dog by Gene Zion (pictures Margaret Bloy Graham)

 

 

This little book dates back to 1956 – but it is timeless.  Harry is a dirty dog.  He goes to some lengths to avoid a bath.  But it all turns out ok in the end…

 

The original edition was just black and white but a reissue in 2002 had colour added by the original artist.
