Who are the Romantic Poets?

I was watching a quiz show (The Chase) and noticed a question about the Romantic Poets.  The famous 6 are William Blake (1757-1827), William Wordsworth (1770-1850), Coleridge (1772-1834), Byron (1782-1824), Shelley (1792-1822) and Keats (1795-1821). They were all alive at the same time between 1795 and 1821.

Romantic writing largely took place following the French Revolution and often celebrated man's mystic relationship with nature.

Did they know each other? Wordsworth and Coleridge were friends and co-authored Lyrical Ballads – which included Wordsworth's famous poem Tintern Abbey.

Byron and Shelley were friends. Keats also knew Coleridge.

Here is a list of each poet's most well known poem:

Blake – Songs of Innocence and Experience

Wordsworth – Tintern Abbey

Coleridge – The Rime of the Ancient Mariner

Byron – Childe Harold's Pilgrimage

Shelley – Ozymandias

Keats – Ode on a Grecian Urn
