So this book, Always The Last To Know, has been described as having heart with humour. I can agree with that.
Barb and John are long married. Barb is unhappy. She decides to leave after their 50th anniversary. But John has a stroke.
The story centres on what happens next. They have 2 daughters who lead different lives and don't really understand each other.
It sort of all works out in the end – not perhaps as you might think…
This book was good enough that I went into the author's back catalogue to try another.
