Skeleton Key by Anthony Horowitz

I'm still really enjoying the Alex Rider series of books.  Skeleton Key is the third one.

The title refers to one of the Keys off the coast of Cuba.  But the action – and there is lots of it – takes place not only there but at Wimbledon and in Cornwall.

Alex is not happy about being used by the British secret service but ends up not having much choice.

It's a little hard to imagine what the next book in the series will come up with given that Alex saves the world from a nuclear bomb in this one.

Well written and particularly well developed plot.  I recommend it to all adults as well as teenagers.
