And so I came to see him to listen for a while
And there he was this young boy, a stranger to my eyes

I must be a bit of a softy because I remember Killing Me Softly with His Song with nostalgia.

Roberta Flack was born in 1937 in North Carolina.  Her middle name was Cleopatra!  She hasn't been all that well the last few years – so I'm sure we all wish her the best.
