Anna Quindlen is an accomplished novelist. So I had quite high expectations for this
'memoir'. And they were exceeded. I have previously posted about Still
Life with Breadcrumbs
Rather than a life story this book is a series of small
essays (or I suspect previous columns) dealing with issues she has thought
about including the progress of women, aging, parenting and the stuff you
collect over a lifetime.
I didn't agree with her on everything but she expresses
her world view in an accessible and compelling way.
Thanks for the review, a new one for me.
