Rust
in Peace was released in 1990.
It is the 4th studio album by the band – which is a thrash
metal band – not entirely sure what thrash metal is – I suspect it's not my
sort of thing.
The album was nominated for a Grammy. The cover
apparently references one of the tracks – Hangar 18. It depicts various world leaders of the time
looking at an alien body. Hangar 18
refers to a hangar at an air force base in Ohio. There is also a film of that
name.
