Anne Tyler is a talented and prolific writer. I have not read all her books. I have posted about 2 of them that I liked – Digging to America and Vinegar Girl
Clock
Dance was a great read.
It resonated with me on so many levels.
The title really doesn't do the book justice and the cover is frankly
weird.
But be that as it may this book is a powerful
demonstration of how family dynamics in our early years can lead to later
choices that otherwise are completely inexplicable – such as choosing the wrong
mate. If your childhood was less than
idyllic, you really should read this book.
The book is fascinating and leaves you guessing about
how it will end right up to the end. And
it should give hope to everyone who still hasn't found their place in the world
despite being over 60.
Well said! I couldn't agree more. It was a great book.
