First, I apologise for this not being a real
recipe. It's a simple sandwich. But sometimes, it's something simple that
really hits the spot.
Ingredients
Leftover roast chicken (white meat)
Hard boiled egg, sliced (from the day before)
Salt & Pepper
Mayo
Bread/spread (crusts cut off)
Garnish – basil or other green herb
Method:
Cut off your crusts
Spread your choice of spread onto the bread
Salt and Pepper
Add the slices of chicken and some squirts of mayo
Add your egg slices. Season again.
Garnish (unnecessary if you aren't taking a pic)
I didn't put a slice of bread on top until after taking
the photo – but here sandwiches mean 2 slices of bread with a filling in the
middle.
Do you like the background of the pic? I recently scored some patterned paper blocks
on sale and they are giving me some different options.
Yes, sometimes simple is quite good. Happy Cinco de Mayo!
