Mark Dimock – a Kiwi artist from Eketahuna

So where the heck is Eketahuna?  Well, a lot of New Zealander's wouldn't know either.  It is a tiny town in the middle of the North Island.  Less than 500 hundred people live in the town itself.  It is bigger than Waikikamukau (pronounced why kick a moo cow).

We went to see an exhibition of Mark Dimock's art in a seaside suburb.  And I loved his work although it wasn't in my price range.  I hope you like it too.

A lot of it is made on re-cycled cross bars from old wooden telephone poles.  He also uses aluminium and copper inlaid into the wood.

He also does sculpture
