Many of you may not be able to get this book but I
thought I'd tell you about it anyway.
Jake Bailey is a young Kiwi who got a devastating diagnosis just days
before the end of the high school year.
He was the Head Boy and as such was due to speak at Prize Giving.
After his
recovery I heard Jake speak at a conference and was really strongly struck by
his outlook on life. One of the things
he said was that each morning when he wakes up he thinks 'I'm not dead – it's a
good day'.
Thanks for sharing! Off to listen to his speech...may just write this book down for future reading!! Sounds inspirational.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a tough book yet inspiring.
