Food on Friday: BBQ

It's BBQ time – or barbecue – however you spell it!

To add your BBQ dishes, just put the name of the dish together with your blog name/name into the first Mr Linky box you will find below.  Then paste the url for your post about it into the second box.

I'll be pinning the dishes to this Pinboard which will make it easy for you to check them out at a glance.  The links from the earlier collections are also on that board.

Let's make this a really fine barbecue party.

  1. Hi, Carole and all,
The recipe for Barbecued Pork Side Ribs ( # 3 ) can also be coked in the oven. The post also has a link for a cornbread recipe, which goes nicely with the ribs.

  2. Carole, I don't know about there, but here in the US you can't have a barbecue, picnic, potluck, tailgate party or much of any kind of gathering without deviled eggs!

  3. I left two recipes -- a delicious Spiked Hummus inspired by an appetizer my fiance and I ordered on our first date and a Chipotle BBQ pizza.

  4. My BBQ lamb skewers are based on Xinjiang lamb and are super popular with our family and friends! (You can always do them on under the grill if it's not bbq weather!)

  5. If you say "BBQ" where I live, it usually means pulled pork or maybe ribs. It generally doesn't refer to the cooking process. We call that "grilling" or maybe "cooking out." Isn't it interesting to learn the differences among us? BTW, #9, the burgers, are really good. Make the recipe in steps and it's not hard.

  6. Thanks for the invite to link up, Carole! Have a good weekend!

  7. Hi Carole. I brought over a few things this week. Some side dishes that are perfect with BBQ, and one of my personal favorites a Russian dish using a white BBQ sauce. Great party. Thanks for hosting. Cheers!
