Enid Blyton – Five Go On A Strategy Away Day by Bruno Vincent

Today's book post is about something a bit different.  Five Go On A Strategy Away Day is one of a number of books that this author has written in the style of Enid Blyton and using her characters  (The Famous Five) but in modern settings.

This is termed Enid Blyton for grown-ups – but that doesn't mean it contains bad language or anything.

It's quirky and gently humorous.  It does make you that little bit nostalgic.  Not in any way an important book but worth a look if you read Enid Blyton as a child.

I'm looking forward to reading the other titles in the series – Five Go Gluten Free,  Five on Brexit Island, Five on Parenting and Five Give Up the Booze.
