Books You Loved: June edition and New Blog of the Month

Books You Loved: May had lots of super books.  Some reviews that caught my eye were:

The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper by Phaedra Patrick was reviewed by Silver's Reviews.  The review said 'an adorable, enchanting, uplifting read.  Be prepared to fall in love with Arthur Pepper.'

Visual Intelligence by Amy E Herman was reviewed by Different Time, Different Place Reviews.  Debbie's review said 'Visual Intelligence is a course on improving your ability to see important details and clearly communicate your observations to others. The book contains full-color art that you study closely as part of the exercises.'

The Martian by Andy Weir was brought over by the Bookworm Chronicles.  Jessica said 'a gripping and immersive science-fiction drama which had me on the edge of my seat and, surprisingly, laughing from start to finish'

A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson was reviewed by Let's Read.  Marianne said 'Do NOT attempt to read this in public if you don't want everyone looking at "that person who just can't stop laughing"

The Saving Graces by Patricia Gaffney was brought over by Moonshine & Rosefire.  Mary said 'I was completely immersed in the story in a relatively short period of time, and quite willingly lost myself in the story of these four remarkable women. I found the book hard to put down and was rooting for the Graces all the way through.  I would certainly give this book an A+!'

To see other books that were linked in, you can hop on over to this Pinboard.

You may have noticed that I have now inserted a top page called Books in my header.  Here you will find books that I have reviewed because I thought they were great plus a list of books I have read but chose not to review.  It's a work in progress but I hope you'll find it useful.

Now for the June collection.  Remember the post doesn't have to be a recent one and the book doesn't have to have been recently published or read.  The only requirement is that it is about a book that you loved.

To add to the list just pop the name of the book (and your name/blog name if you like) into the first Mr Linky box and then copy and paste the url of your post about it into the second box.

I'll be pinning your links to this Pinboard to make it easier for you to check them out at a glance.

Another month begins so I have chosen my new Blog of the Month – Silver's Reviews. Elizabeth is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her blog has a beautiful header – showing a spectacular Scottish scene. She has been book blogging for almost 6 years.  You will find lots of good book reviews – including the one I featured in this post.

Happy June!
