We've done Low
Fat Dishes before
but it was more than 2 years ago. And
given my waistline I need some new ideas!
To add your low fat dishes, just put the name of the
dish together with your blog name/name into the first Mr Linky box you will
find below. Then paste the url for your
post about it into the second box.
I'll be pinning the dishes to this
Pinboard which also has the links from the earlier collection.
Happy healthy eating!
Hi, Carole,
ReplyDeleteSounds like you could do with a nice easy weekend. The sky is a bit hazy due to the forest fires on the Ontario border and the really bad forest fires in Alberta. So, I can’t complain about how the week has been for us here in Winnipeg.
The post for Shrimp with Lemon Garlic Sauce ( # 7 ) also has links for two Maltese Arjoli sauces that are served with snails. Arjoli is also good with shrimp, if folks want something spicy.
Hope next week is better for you :)
It's so nice to be back to Food on Friday! Thanks for always hosting! :) ~Shelley
ReplyDeleteGreat theme! Always looking for more low fat recipes!
ReplyDeleteHappy to find all low-cal today
ReplyDeleteCarole, thanks for hosting. I try to cut back on the fat in everything I make and to use only healthy natural fats like organic butter and extra virgin olive oil.
ReplyDeleteSalt and Pepper Shrimp is a really easy, and delicious, low-fat meal for 2.
ReplyDeleteI was going to add a soups but I can see a few so have gone for some Gujarati Spiced Potatoes. There is a small amount of oil to cook the spices but not really much at all. These potatoes are warm and heart without being too spicy. Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteI could use some low fat dishes too. Thank you for the link up.
ReplyDeleteHi Carole, just put up 2 salad posts. Have a nice day!
ReplyDeleteGreat theme Carole, thanks!
ReplyDeleteAdded my Palak Paneer, which is hearty and yet I think rather low in fat. I'll go see what other recipes I have that are also low in fat. Have a great weekend and thanks for hosting this as always.
ReplyDeleteCarole,
ReplyDeleteI'll admit I don't pay any attention to the total amount of fat in the dishes I cook. I don't fry anything in "inches of oil", but I also don't do the transmogrified foods that have substitutes to give the mouthfeel of fat (low fat cheese, etc). I prefer the original versions, and moderate portions.
Thanks for hosting!
