The Stylist by Rosie Nixon

Thanks to a review by Fly High! I got The Stylist from the library. I agree with her summing up of the book ' Jet-set comedy and red carpet drama studded with whims, crushes and crazy surprises ensue.'

The book was exactly the right sort of stuff I needed on the days I read it.  No, it's not got huge literary value, but what does that matter when you want to read it, enjoy it and have a lot of giggles too.  Thanks, Maria!

What I liked about the book:

  • ·         It was fun
  • ·         It had a very striking cover that perfectly matched the book
  • ·         The author clearly knows a lot about the red carpet scene – she is/was an   editor of Hello magazine
  • ·         The running gag about the heroine's name was fun – Amber Green
  • ·         Seeing the fashion world in the US through English eyes added another dimension
