Food on Friday: Soup

 ON

It's just about time for soup – whether hot or cold!

To add your soups, just put the name of the soup together with your blog name/name into the first Mr Linky box you will find below.  Then paste the url for your post about it into the second box.

I'll be pinning the dishes to this Pinboard which will make it easy for you to check them out at a glance.  The links from the earlier soup collection are also on that board.

Soup, Glorious Soup!

  1. I do love a nice pot of gumbo. New Zealanders may not be familiar with this delightful concoction from the swamps of Louisiana, in the southeastern United States, but that can be fixed!

  2. Hi, Carole and all,

I also hope everyone is in fine form. All’s well here in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The post for my Ma’s Vegetable Soup with Meat ( # 21 ) also has a link for another of her soup recipes; and that post has a recipe for a salad.
Get your veggies whether it is hot or cold where you live!

  5. We are still in summer. It's hot outside. But we love soup when it's cool. The Cauliflower Soup (#32) is ridiculously good. Trust me.

  7. We love soup at our house. I've shared a few recipes in your link.

I just realised that I haven't blogged about my pumpkin soup yet. I dislike pumpkin but I love my pumpkin soup. It took a lot of experimenting to get it to the point that I can eat it. If it can convert a pumpkin hater, then it should be good for others too.

  8. Hi Carole, I sent you the recipe for this lentil soup. When I posted it other bloggers and friends said they actually made it and loved it.

    Have a good weekend.

  9. I've added a Moroccan Chick Pea Harira - it's quite a light version of the soups and benefits from the inclusion of a squeeze of lemon. Thanks for hosting.
