Tournon d'Agenais

Tournon d'Agenais is a pretty bastide hilltop town in the Lot and Garonne region of France.  It is not well known – when I checked Wikipedia the English version had almost nothing about it at all.

The town was founded in 1271

This is a florally decorated well in the square that was the source of water for the bastide from the 13th century to 1955.

There is a 19th century town hall (Mairie).

There were also some interesting old houses. You find modern signage on mediaeval buildings.

There is  a clock tower with a moon clock (also known as a lunar clock, I think)

We went into the convent church. I liked stained glass windows although I am not very good at photographing them.
