The Eagles – their 1972 album

I seem to have loved the music of the Eagles for a very long time.  Did you know that the band originally started as a backing band for Linda Ronstadt?

This was their debut album, recorded in London.  The album was made in 3 weeks – not something that happens very often these days I suspect.

Take It Easy

Witchy Woman, and

Peaceful Easy Feeling

Within 5 years of this debut album the Eagles were one of the biggest bands in the world.

Do you like the album cover?  I think it is remarkably restrained for its time!
