Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme by Simon & Garfunkel

Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme
Remember me to one who lives there
She once was a true love of mine

You've got to love a song that has culinary herbs in its title and became so popular!  And the album was named after th song as well – of course, it was 1966!  The album was the follow up to Sounds of Silence.

What a shame that Art and Paul couldn't stay together to make lots more great music.

Other tracks on the album – remember albums! – included:

Scarborough Fair (which includes the title lyrics)
Homeward Bound, and
Feelin Groovy

  1. I make Scarborough Fair pesto in autumn every year with the last of my garden herbs. It makes great seasoning for stuffing and other savory dishes!

  2. I am managing to grow sage, rosemary AND thyme in my garden, but not succeeding with parsley for some reason! I read an article the other day about their break-up. So sad when they were such a talented pair
