Parana Landscape by Juan Manuel Blanes


Parana Landscape was painted in 1875.  The painter is from Uruguay.  I wanted to show it to you because of the sheer delight on the girl's face and her relaxed demeanour appeal to me so much.

The idyllic scene somehow is made more so, in my opinion, by the girl's feet being dirty!
