First,
thanks to Bermuda
Onion's Weblog
for alerting me to this Lucy Knisley graphic travelogue. I really liked her other books – Relish and French Milk and this book
certainly did not disappoint. It deals
with a trip she made to Norway, Sweden and France – at a crossroads in her life
– which in part is why the title is An
Age of License.
Quite apart
from the illustrations which are quirky and fun, I found the book a quick and
fun read. Highly recommended.
I've not read a graphic novel. Maybe it's time I did.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoy An Age of License. I finally read Relish recently and I'm looking forward to picking up the rest of her books!
